Hard Disk installation instructions for Hi-X8

This is a step by step instruction manual to install a 2.5" hard disk into the Hi-X8 mp4 player. Please discharge any static charge on your body before you attempt to install or remove the hard disk!!! As static can destroy the electronics of the hard disk or mp4 player!!!

Step 1 - Open the case at the back

Step 2 - Prepare the rubber shock absorption "legs" as shown next to the hard disk.

Step 3 - Install the rubber shock absorption "legs"in the screw holes of the hard disk as circled.

Step 4 - Plug the hard disk into the Hi-X8 mp4 player.

Step 5 - Stick the sponge shock absorber into the other end of the hard disk as circled or stick the sponge on the mp4 player case instead of the hard disk.

Step 6 - Squash the sponge and push the hard disk into the Hi-X8 mp4 player.

Step 7 - Prepare the metal plates which has the screw holes as shown on the right.

Step 8 - Slot in the metal plates which will be used for the screws.

Step 9 - Put in the screws as circled and tighten it.

Step 10 - Do the same for the other side of the mp4 player.

Congratulations, you have just installed the hard disk and ready for the next step.
